Keep in mind it’s typically easier to remove wisdom teeth in younger patients for several reasons:
- The roots of the wisdom teeth are not completely formed.
- Surrounding bone is softer.
- There is less chance of damaging nearby nerves or other structures.

A 2014 study printed by the American Dental Association concluded better implant success rates when performed by a dental specialist. No dental specialists have more advanced surgical and implant training than an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Our surgeons place hundreds of successful dental implants a year!
