Dr. Hiramoto and Janet had a great time at Special Olympics this past weekend! They performed dental screenings and oral hygiene instruction for the athletes between their events. There was a great turnout and it was a well organized event put on by Special Olympics Hawaii!

After careful consideration and recommendations by the ADA, we have decided to postpone all preventive and elective dental treatment at Aiea Newtown Dental Group until further notice due to the COVID-19 spread. We have made this decision based on the safety of our patients, our staff and our community. We will continue to be available on a limited schedule for dental emergencies. We are constantly monitoring the ongoing situation and will contact you when we will be providing preventive and elective dental treatment again. Stay safe and see you soon!

Dr. Hiramoto teamed up with Dr. Landon Oka to help promote National Children’s Dental Health Month today at Lincoln elementary school with support from the HDA, Central Pacific Bank, and Patterson Dental. We had a great time educating 1st and second graders about oral health, and how to stay healthy.
