Did you know your gum health may affect more than just your smile? 🧠🦷
For Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, we’re shining a light on the connection between oral health and brain health. Research has found links between gum disease (periodontal disease), chronic inflammation, and an increased risk of cognitive decline, including conditions like Alzheimer’s disease.
While brushing and flossing aren’t a guarantee against memory loss, keeping gum disease under control may help reduce inflammation in the body — and support overall health from head to toe.
Healthy gums = more than a healthy smile 💙
If it’s been a while since your cleaning, this is your reminder that preventive care matters more than you may think!
