All things fluoride 🦷✨
Fluoride is one of the simplest ways to protect your little one’s smile!
Here’s why we recommend it:

✨ It makes teeth more resistant to acid attacks from sugary snacks and drinks

Think of fluoride as a tiny superhero shield for your kiddo’s teeth 🦷
For ages 4 and up: A pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste twice a day is all it takes to keep those smiles strong and cavity-free.
For ages 0-3: a smear or rice-grain sized amount twice a day is all you’ll need!

Meet the Doctor 🦷✨

Dr. Sarah grew up in Cartersville, Georgia, and went on to attend the University of Georgia for her undergraduate degree (Go Dawgs! 🐾). She then earned her DMD from the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta before completing her pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Sarah and her husband, Jayson, call Acworth home, where they’re raising their two children, Margo and Henry. When she’s not caring for little smiles, you’ll find Dr. Sarah traveling, hiking, decorating, or cheering on her kiddos at their favorite sports. 🥰

Dr. Sarah opened Grin & Co. in October 2025 and is so excited to be serving the Acworth and Dallas communities! She can’t wait to get to know your families and help create happy, healthy smiles for years to come. 🦷✨

Let’s talk summer snacks ☀️

Pool time, vacation, road trips, travel ball, and lazy days at home generally call for lots and lots of snacks.

Help set your little ones up for success by choosing snacks that don’t stick on or in between the teeth, which will reduce the risk of cavities!

Keep in mind, crunchy/carb snacks aren’t that bad every now and then, but if chips and goldfish are a daily staple in the house, we may start to see dental issues in the chair.
