🎉 Five Years of Thrive Dental Co. 🎉
Starting Thrive was a leap into the unknown, fueled by my desire for a new adventure. It is hard to believe it has been 5 years since that adventure started. I could never have imagined how profoundly this journey would shape me—both personally and professionally.
Opening a business during the pandemic, while navigating my husband’s severe illness, a new baby, and a new home, was an extraordinary challenge. Those early days stretched me to my limits as I balanced caregiving, parenting, and building this practice. It was a difficult and even traumatic time. Yet, it taught me lessons I would not have learned any other way. I discovered my resilience, learned to set boundaries, and began to truly care for myself amidst the chaos.
What I’ve Learned Along the Way
Being a business owner has been an incredible learning opportunity. Supporting my team and learning to lead with empathy has been one of the most rewarding aspects thus far. I’ve embraced the inevitable highs and lows, reframing failures as opportunities to reflect, grow, and discover new possibilities. Most importantly, I’ve found clarity in my deepest, unwavering desire: to make a positive difference in the world. Whether it’s through serving my patients or mentoring my team, this purpose guides everything I do.
