One small swing for dentists. One giant swing for Limberakis Family Dentistry!

In the world’s worst kept secret…we bought a building to be our final home for LFD! Fear not- it’s only 1 minute from our current practice and still right on Old York Road! Where? Right across from Abington Memorial Hospital (or two doors down from Señor Salsa 💃) Some of you may have even visited this building when it was Rothman Orthopedics.

Dr. J- Didn’t you just finish an office? Shockingly that was a decade ago- and we were just renting that space. Now we have a place to call our own! Luckily, we get to bring everything from our current space too.

It’s always been a goal to have a place of our very own. We’ve had our eyes out for the right spot for a long time. Finally, it came together.

It’s going to be a long journey, this old gem needs a lot of fixing up. When it’s all done though, it’s going to be incredible.

The goal is to be in there Spring of 2027! Thank you to all of our amazing team and our wonderful patients, there is no way we could take on this endeavor without your support and encouragement. Let’s get after it!

Dr. Odhner Odhner Orthodontics came by to serve up some important information about why it is so critical for children to be seen at/by age 7 for their initial orthodontic visit. Parents let’s keep it really simple- you want to catch things early to avoid greater difficulties down the road.

I think one of the most critical tips was that waiting until all of the baby teeth are out before seeing the orthodontist is inviting challenges. Why? Well- by the time all of the baby teeth exfoliate, the palate has already fused so that expansion becomes very difficult. Having the proper palate width allows for better breathing, corrects cross bites, crowding and many other things.

TLDR: See your friendly neighborhood orthodontist by age 7️⃣
