Alyssa’s smile transformation is absolutely stunning! When she first came to see Dr. Westfall, she had an anterior open bite, spacing, minimal tooth display when she smiled, and a very flat smile arc. An anterior open bite means that when Alyssa bit down, her front teeth did not touch—leaving an opening between the upper and lower teeth. This can affect both the appearance of the smile and the function of the bite.

Using the Pitts Protocols along with his advanced aesthetic orthodontic training, Dr. Westfall designed a treatment plan focused on creating a smile that was not only healthy and functional, but naturally beautiful and balanced as well.

🦷✨ We had so much fun visiting Abingdon Elementary and spending time with awesome 4th grade students!

Dr. Westfall, Vashti, and Allie talked all about healthy smiles — including braces, clear aligners, brushing, flossing, baby teeth, and even looking at X-rays together. 😁🪥

Each student also went home with a hygiene kit to help keep their smile shining bright!

Thank you to Abingdon Elementary for welcoming us into your school. We love getting to connect with students in our community and make learning about oral health fun and interactive. 💙

🎉🐾 Today we’re celebrating a very special member of the Westfall Orthodontics team… MOLLY! 💙

Molly may be the tiniest team member, but the impact she has on our office is huge. From calming nerves and giving the best snuggles to greeting patients with tail wags and making everyone smile, she brings so much comfort and joy to every appointment. ✨

Her birthday was last week, and we wanted to take a moment to recognize just how loved she is by our patients, families, and team. We truly can’t imagine Westfall Orthodontics without her sweet little personality. 🐶💖
