Statement from Mia Dental Clinic
Yesterday, a patient falsely claimed that one of her teeth was broken, even though there is no evidence of any such issue. She shared misleading images and demanded that we “fix” her tooth, despite the fact that none of the visuals she sent show any sign of a fracture. All treatment records, including X-rays and detailed clinical documentation, are securely stored in our clinic.
Only a few hours before this unfounded accusation, the same patient had sent a family member to our clinic to request treatment pricing on their behalf, and personally hugged our team, calling us “the best” on her way out. It is therefore not surprising to us — knowing her behavior — that she has now chosen to act this way.
We would like to share the reality that most of our patients are unaware of: every year, we treat over 1,000 patients with care and dedication. Unfortunately, once in a while, a single individual attempts to pressure us with false claims, threats, or manipulative tactics for their own benefit.
Mia Dental Clinic has proudly served patients for 26 years. We have built our reputation without any advertising, solely through word-of-mouth referrals, and today we are honored to care for the third generation of families who trust us. This level of trust and continuity is something few clinics in Türkiye can achieve.
We invite our community to approach this situation with understanding and remember that every story has two sides. Sadly, in life and in business, there will always be a small number of people whose intentions are not genuine. We trust that our patients — past, present, and future — will see this situation for what it is.
