🦷 “My gums are receding. Will my teeth fall out?”

Yes, of course they will… (just like Oytun Hoca would say 😄)
But not suddenly, like “bam, and it’s gone.”

Gum recession is usually a sign of bone loss, and bone loss can progress over time. If it advances, it can lead to tooth mobility (looseness).

Once a tooth becomes loose, it may no longer support a bridge or denture, and biting can cause pain or sensitivity.

Then the question becomes:

Should the tooth be extracted?
Should it be replaced with an implant or bridge?
Are the supporting teeth strong enough?

It’s a chain reaction, and early treatment is crucial.
