Sevgili Hastamın alt dişlerinin çoğu çekilmişti, kalan dişlerde diş eti problemi ve lezyonlar vardı ve hastamız çok sayıda implant yaptırmak istemiyordu. Alt çenede dil olduğu için hiç implantsız takım diş kolayca devrilebilmekte ve hasta rahat yemek yiyememektedir. Böyle vakalarda alt çeneye yalnızca 2 implant yaparak, ball ataçman veya çıtçıtlı protez dediğimiz tutuculuğu oldukça yüksek, yemek yerken devrilmeyecek bir protez yapılmaktadır.
My dear patient’s most of the lower teeth had already been extracted. The remaining teeth showed gum disease and some lesions, and the patient did not want to have multiple implants placed. Because of the presence of the tongue in the lower jaw, , a complete denture without implants can easily become unstable and tip over, making it difficult for the patient to eat comfortably. In such cases, we can place only 2 implants in the lower jaw and fabricate an overdenture with ball attachments (also known as snap-on attachments). This type of prosthesis provides significantly improved retention and stability, preventing the denture from tipping while eating.
