What are the clinical applications of dental volumetric tomography?
• Dental volumetric tomography provides the detailed information about the bone level, height and width.
• It helps the diagnosis and treatment planning of impacted teeth. It provides localization of impacted teeth, and the relationship of the impacted tooth to various anatomic structures.
• More successful endodontic treatment can be achieved by dental volumetric tomography via early detection of lesions on the root apex, and accessory and curved root canals which can not be seen on two-dimensional conventional radiographs.
• It helps the treatment planning of orthodontic treatment, joint treatment and its surgical treatments therefore it gives more successful outcomes in the treatment process.

What are the ways to prevent physiological Halitosis?

• Zinc-containing toothpaste, mouthwashes and chewing gum can also prevent halitosis.
