Unfortunately, some of the images currently being circulated on social media do not provide a complete or accurate representation of the patient’s clinical condition or treatment journey. We understand that concerns and different perspectives may arise, particularly when only part of a complex treatment process is visible.
Our intention is not to enter into conflict with the patient or with anyone discussing this case. We simply believe that the public deserves to see information in its proper context and that both patients and healthcare professionals should be treated with fairness and respect.
Above all, our priority remains the patient’s health, wellbeing and dignity. For this reason, while we feel it is necessary to correct information that may create a misleading impression, we will continue to respect patient confidentiality and will not publicly disclose sensitive clinical records beyond what is appropriate.
