A digital X-ray allows our dental team to evaluate important structures such as the tooth roots, surrounding bone, and areas that cannot be assessed during a visual examination alone.

This helps us identify any dental considerations that may need attention before or during your aligner treatment and ensures that your treatment plan is based on a complete assessment.

Instead of using traditional impression materials, we use an intraoral scanner to create a detailed digital model of your teeth.

The scanner captures the shape and position of your teeth and bite, allowing us to see your smile from different angles and create an accurate starting point for treatment planning.

This digital model is also used to design your customised aligners and plan how your teeth will move throughout treatment.

Every smile is different, so aligner treatment should never be a one-size-fits-all process.

Using your examination, X-rays, photographs, and 3D digital scan, our orthodontist plans the sequence of tooth movements required to achieve the desired result.

Your digital treatment plan allows us to visualise the different stages of your treatment and determine how your teeth should move from their current positions toward their planned final positions.

Once your treatment plan has been finalised, your aligners are produced specifically for your teeth.
