The tooth root is in the bone, and the gum covers it externally. Therefore, the bone level is always lower than the gum level.
Gum recession equals bone loss.
Severe gum recession, which indicates significant bone loss, increases the risk of tooth loss.
Fortunately, it is possible to perform gum grafting. Don’t let the recession get so severe that grafting is no longer an option.

🦷For the issue of incomplete front teeth, where the edges of the teeth taper towards each other (peg-shaped teeth), there are two solutions:

😁😁 1️⃣ Veneers

👍**Advantage**
✅ Whitening teeth is possible by applying veneers to 6-8 teeth

**Disadvantage**
- Grinding tooth that makes surface size reduction is required.
- Expensive
- Requires multiple appointments

😁😁2️⃣ Composite Facing
This method uses composite resin to reshape the teeth to the correct form and blend seamlessly with adjacent teeth.

👍**Advantage**
✅ Cost-effective
✅ Completed in a single appointment
✅ No tooth reduction needed

**Disadvantage**
- Cannot change the color of the teeth

For this case, Dr. Pia would recommended the 2nd method, Composite Facing.

Even though there is no hole in your tooth, does not mean it is perfectly flawless!! It canbe a small decayed area between teeth,😭 Dr Pia would like to advise how to observe decayed tooth by yourselves.🧐

The difficulties of this case are:
- There was a large space about 2mm in only one side. By filling this problematic space would result too large tooth size in single side either, which seems to be not so nice.
- Front tooth had Periodontal Disease, its remaining bone was only 40-50% left. The tooth extruded and procline.
- Orthodontics solution for this case could not be done because of being Periodontal Disease symptom.

For this case, Dr. Pia has decided to close this gab. She has technique to make the tooth look smaller. She also grind the edge of extruded tooth to make all the teeth look harmonious. Important thing was that, Dr. Pia leave enough space at gum lever for everyday deeply cleaning purposes.

Even though the result was not such impeccable due to the obstable of limitation of tooth's size but it looked much nicer obviouosly. Finally, before closing this case, ensuring the overall result from the X-ray display has been proceeded according to Dr. Pia's procedure.

🦷 In case severe Periodontitis,
🦷 severe bone loss,
🦷 severe Gingival Recession.
Regarding to the x-ray display, there is only a small amount of bone at the tip of this root. This obviously seems that there is no chance to secure this tooth.
It will definitely be pulled out in the future.

🦷 After pulling the tooth out:
✅ By wearing removable-dentures is the most economical way in saving the budget.
✅ With Dental Implant method,
it requires to proceed Bone Graft while
the treatment process is quite complicated, its result is not surely predictable and high cost.

👩🏻‍🦰 The patient has asked Dr. Pia to make her smile looks a little nicer while considering the most preferable way
and collecting money.
✅ Dr. Pia has fixed the Black Triangle Teeth with composite resin while remaining a certain space at the gum level for daily cleaning requirement.
Fortunately, nobody else could notice this area because the lip covered it.
✅ Dr. Pia would like to caution and suggest everyone that it is really essential to see your dentist regularly in order to proactively prevent any possible symptomatic issues.

Interdental papilla recession causes black triangle between teeth . This lady had a black triangle at the central point . I used composite resin for space closure. This technique does not need cutting tooth structure at all . Thank you modern adhesive material for beautiful work .
