Fig tree or Bodhi tree is considered a sacred plant in Buddhism which Buddha used as the location for his Enlightenment; hence fig tree is used to convey the meaning of enlightenment, knowledge, awakening and merriment. Apart from the common knowledge that fig tree is a sacred plant; its parts also contain therapeutic elements including oral disease. In the past, people boiled barks of Bodhi tree in the water and use the water for mouthwash to alleviate toothache. Sahapan Group topped this wisdom by taking this pure herbal extract as key ingredient in our Kolbadent GumAlive toothpaste.
