Are you ready to say “I do” to porcelain veneers too? 💍

This lovely girl had a wedding coming up and one little wish. To finally smile without holding back.

She had composite bonding done before, but the edges kept chipping because of her sneaky little deep overbite!

So this time, we decided to give E.max BL1 a go.

But here’s something I always tell my patients. Porcelain is a bit like marriage. It’s a long-term commitment! Once your teeth have been prepared, you’re signing up for a lifetime of looking after and eventually replacing your veneers.

For those who don’t know, I offer both porcelain and composite bonding, and I genuinely believe composite can be every bit as beautiful as porcelain.

Closing a big gap without making the teeth look big? That’s where the illusion comes in. ✨

When orthodontics isn’t an option, composite bonding can close the gaps, but simply adding material can leave the teeth looking too wide.

I like to think of it as tailoring a dress. It’s not just about adding fabric, but knowing where to create curves to flatter the shape.

By opening up the incisal embrasures, softening the line angles and creating gentle curves, I can give the illusion of slimmer, more delicate teeth, even though we’ve actually made them wider.

The art isn’t just in closing the space. It’s in making the added width disappear.
