It was a wonderful weekend busy, intense, and incredibly rewarding.
I had the privilege of taking part in the 17th mission of Operation Smile UAE, and my fourth mission with this incredible organization.

Each mission is a reminder that medicine goes far beyond procedures and protocols. It’s about restoring not only function, but confidence, dignity, and hope.
In this mission we were able to change the lives of 22 patients, restoring not only their smiles, but also their confidence, and bringing renewed hope to them and their families.

This impact is only possible through true teamwork. It was inspiring to work alongside both familiar faces and new colleagues, all united as one family for a shared purpose.

On a personal level, these missions continue to shape me not only as a maxillofacial surgeon, but also as a human being. They reinforce why we chose this profession in the first place.

Grateful to my friends and colleagues, and deeply thankful to Operation Smile and everyone who contributed behind the scenes to make this mission a true success.
Looking forward to continuing this journey.
