🇸🇬 Great catching up this morning with 1 of the many great teachers that I had the privilege to learn from during my undergraduate dental school days in NUS. Prof W***y Chang was instrumental amongst other Professors, who guided me to get my distinction in Clinical Dentistry for my BDS. For this I am humbled and forever grateful to your teachings. 一日为师, 终身为父. Thanks Prof‼️🙏🙏🙏

Benjamin is a really old friend of mine... we knew each other back when we were Primary 1 boys at the old Anglo-Chinese Primary School at Coleman Street‼️🤭🤭🤭 He is also 1/4 of local alternative band 🎸. My friends are all so talented...💪💪💪

🦷👨🏻‍⚕️ If there is a mentor who had helped me the most after graduation from dental school and as a young clinician, no one comes close to Prof Dominic Leung, who took me under his wing and opened up many doors for me to be the clinician that I am today... Thank you 师傅 for joining me for dinner after clinics today. Always a pleasure to be in your company and picking up nuggets of wisdom from you. 🙇🏻‍♂️🙇🏻‍♂️🙇🏻‍♂️

🇸🇬 Excellent catch-up lunch session with old friend .khan.khai who was previously the Head of Children Emergency at KK Women's and Children's Hospital 🏥 and now the Head of the paediatric urgent care centre at Parkway East Hospital since 2023. Thanks for taking time off your busy schedule and for the delicious lunch! Next makan session my treat! 🤩🤩🤩

📖 Still authoring books at 91 years of age 🤯🤯🤯... that's what my long-time patient Mr Gerald F. Pillay, whom I am privileged to attend to for more than 16 years, have been doing after retiring as a Public Servant of 33 years to the Government of Singapore 🇸🇬. Still relatively mobile with only the help of a walking stick, his mental faculties are still razor sharp. 🔪 Thank you for the book gift , and you are an inspiration to younger folks like me‼️ 💪💪💪

🇲🇾 Day 3 of the ICD conference in Penang. Inducted into the first WSI Fellowship in the morning, then was hosted by Dr Yong Peng San to a visit to his flagship clinic 🏥 in George Town. Beautiful centre setup with clinical 💉, laboratory 🛠 and education 📚 facilities housed in a 3 storey heritage building with a magnificent view from the top floor 🏞. Of course, we have to go try the best Char Kuey Teow and Assam Laksa in Penang‼️Thank you for the hospitality 👍🙏💪

🇲🇾 Day 2 of the ICD conference in Penang. Started the day with lectures from Drs .sg, .c.phua, , Ryan San before we all changed up to our academic gear 🎓 for the induction ceremony... Was fun and took the customary pictures 📸 with OGs of Singapore Dentistry - Dr Dominic Leung (Shifu), Dr TC Phua (Sponsor), and last but not least, Dr Peter Tay (Godfather of Singapore Dentistry).🥰🥰🥰 Changed up again for the Gala dinner 🤵‍♂️. Food was great, and it was an engaging session for all of us on the table with the ever energetic Dr Peter Tay. 🤩🤩🤩

🇲🇾 Day 1 of the ICD conference at Penang. Pleasantly suprised to meet up with my classmate Tien Tien in the morning while walking around the trade show... linked up with , and the 3 of us had a great time catching up! 🥰🥰🥰 Turnout was great, and after the usual formalities with the opening ceremony, the scientific programme started in earnest. Caught up with Towkay as well, and it was a very informative conversation. 🤭🤭🤭 The main highlight of the day for me was the last lecture that was presented by Professor Park Kwang Bum - who is the founder and CEO of the Megagen implant 🔩 system. Prof Park is a super implantologist who not only does beautiful surgeries but also seeks to innovate and produces cutting-edge dental implant solutions that we clinicians face daily. 💪💪💪 I got to know him back in Frankfurt 🇩🇪 when he was present during my MSc graduation 🎓 in 2017‼️ Ended the day with dinner and a little shopping at Gurney Plaza, Georgetown. 🍝🍜🤤
