What do you know about your teeth? 🦷

Smilefocus was delighted to collaborate with GPA Dental Group to deliver an educational dental talk to the Year 3 students at Dulwich College (Singapore) on 28 June 2026.

Dr. Carol Tam from Smilefocus and Dr. Swati Kapila from GPA Dental Group enjoyed spending the afternoon with the curious young learners. As part of their science curriculum, the students explored the different types of teeth found in carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores, why we have different teeth, and how to care for them properly.

The classroom was filled with enthusiasm as the children eagerly participated, asked thoughtful questions, and proudly answered the doctors' quizzes. To encourage good oral health habits, every student received dental floss to take home.

At Smilefocus, we believe that education is one of the best ways to promote lifelong oral health. We are proud to support our Singapore community through engaging and informative outreach programmes that inspire children to learn and smile with confidence.

Rain or shine, the Swiss Club Summer Fair 2026 brought the community together ☔🎈

Despite the heavy rain throughout the day, the Smilefocus team had a wonderful time reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting many lovely Swiss Club families at our booth.

It was especially heartwarming to see children stopping by for coloring activities and carrying Smilefocus balloons around the fair, while parents enquired about our dental services, insurance direct billing options, and convenient online booking system.

A big thank you to everyone who braved the weather to come by and say hello — we truly enjoyed being part of such a vibrant family community event ❤️

EVERY SECOND COUNTS! 🦷

If a tooth is knocked out, don’t wait! While the first 30 minutes are the ideal window for saving it, you must still act immediately to improve the chances of a successful re-implantation.

✅ Handle with care: Pick it up by the crown, making sure not to touch the root.
✅ Keep it clean: Rinse away visible debris but do not scrub the tooth.
✅ Keep it moist: Try to put the tooth back into the socket and bite on a handkerchief or cotton roll to stabilize it.
✅ If it won't go back in: Place the tooth in a glass of milk, saline, or even inside your cheek (the sulcus) to keep it moist.
✅ See a dentist ASAP: The longer the tooth is out, the poorer the prognosis, so get to a clinic immediately.
