Featuring our managing director,
Dr Chua JT:
This year I had the immense privilege of returning to Swiss Cottage Secondary School as the Guest of Honour for National Day and Speech Day, an experience that ignited a profound sense of purpose within me.
Stepping back into a place that played a pivotal role in shaping my journey, I felt an overwhelming sense of belonging and gratitude, reminding me that our roots are the foundation upon which we build our dreams.
Receiving the Swiss Alumni Life Achievement Award, presented with recognition from the Principal, the school leadership, and the Ministry of Education, was a truly humbling experience that underscored the power of collective effort and community. It serves as a powerful reminder that our personal and professional accomplishments are not solely our own, but also a testament to the unwavering support and guidance we receive along the way.
Giving back to Swiss Cottage through volunteer work has been an enriching experience that I have always cherished, and to see those efforts acknowledged at such a meaningful level is a profound affirmation of the impact we can have when we invest in the next generation.
As I watched the students of today, brimming with potential, passion, and purpose, I was reminded of the transformative power of education and the vital role our educators and leaders play in shaping the minds of tomorrow. I am deeply grateful to the Principal, the teachers, and the Ministry of Education for their unwavering dedication to nurturing young minds and for recognizing the value of alumni contributions.
Thank you, Swiss Cottage Secondary, for this esteemed honour, for the trust, the recognition, and the opportunity to continue serving the school that has had a lasting impact on my life.
