Made it just in time before another round of measures tightening in Singapore!

Taking some time off from work today to attend Dr Anthony Tay’s hands-on workshop! Always feel very grateful to Sifu Dr and .fooyouhan for introducing .anthonytay , one of the really amazing dentists to me when I first came back to Malaysia!

Sep 2021 vs May 2018

I’m still grateful to have met so many amazing dentists during the time back in Malaysia, attending courses here and there esp in Johor.

Hair tie and specs is still the same, but had to crop the photo cos my weight is no longer the same 😂

Hey! Do you find this a very bright post?

So do I!! This is what we use when treating our patients, so we can see clearer and provide better treatment especially when doing root canal treatment.

But that’s not the purpose of posting this today! Instead, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms Nora from Raydent.

My old dental light Lumadent battery broke on Saturday night while charging. Nora responded to my queries promptly and proactively. She went extra miles to deliver a new set of Lumadent lights early in the morning on Monday before I see my patients!

Thank you Nora for understanding the urgency in my need for dental lights, when having a few root canals that day. You saved my day!

Raydent Supplies! You’ve some good stuff and great staff over there!
Thank you Raydent for having Nora, also thank you for bringing in Lumadent! 😊🙏

So... Today marks my last day here in this clinic!

Definitely had a hard time in making this decision, but it’s a much needed one for myself. I’m grateful to have supportive family, friends and patients all this while. 😊🙏

I would like to specially thank these two for helping me in the clinic. I am forever grateful for having these two awesome people who made my life so much easier and fun!! 🤩All the OTs, some fun stuff🤪, and many many more nonsense🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️(p/s, these photos are all throwback)

Last but not least, I will remember the bond we’ve built with our patients in this fruitful journey. To patients, Thank you so much for trusting us in serving you. 😊

Changing an environment does not mean leaving my patients behind. It just means I am moving forward for a better self, in becoming a better clinician, and providing better dental care for my patients.

Take care and see you soon! 😊

This photo was taken back in Jan 2020 when I went back to Malaysia to celebrate Chinese New Year with family and friends. It was beyond great, as I finally get to spend time with my precious ones in life after working hard in another country alone (in terms of close family members). Which is also the reason why I chose to move to Singapore from New Zealand as I want to be closer to my family.

Little did I know.... the very precious few days off that I took for that year means ... see you in a few years time, if we are fortunate enough. But thanks to advancement in technology, I get to keep in touch with my loved ones.

Not to mention, many heartbreaking stories I heard from patients. We are all helpless to certain extent. And sadly, the consequences/impact for some is to an extent we can never imagine.

I miss home, and I am not rushing home. I hope we can all take care of ourselves well. I hope my family, friends, and even strangers can stay strong, persevere and fight through this long battle together. Keeping ourselves safe, is the best we can do for our loved ones, and for every one of us living in this world.

1. Please stay home unless emergency/essential.
2. do your sanitizing properly (doorknob, phones, touched surfaces with dirty hands)(clean your hand properly).
3. Treat everybody as potential virus carrier, no showing off your face to other people without mask even when you’re just breathing and not talking.
4. Social distancing
5. Never eat with your colleagues, friends, and even family members as virus carriers is everywhere, and can be any of us.
6. Be honest and responsible when you came into contact with potential covid positive patients. Quarantine yourself. Like, really quarantine.
7. Get vaccinated when you have the chance.
8. Don’t spread rumors.
9. Be kind, help each other in a smart and responsible way.
10. Don’t underestimate the impact this virus can bring to all of us.

Please, guard up, take good care of yourself mentally and physically. For you, for me, for all of us.

No one is safe, until everyone is safe. Stay safe.

2 years and 6 days ago on 5th September 2018.. I posted something on my Instagram story about what I wanted to do. From then, many things happened.. that actually stopped me from doing what I wanted to do.. I myself / some real life issues that has put a lot of limitations on me.

I started of as a really passionate dentist .. I want to do SOOO much to raise oral health awareness. As time goes by, while not being able to do what I wanted... I lost parts and parts of myself everyday. I like my job... but I’m not sure since when I started to look forward to off days..

So.. I decided not to let this continue. I need to do something to put myself back together by doing what is meaningful to me.
As you know, a person this great 😂 shouldn’t give up so easily for whatever the world puts on them. (It’s the same for everyone actually 😉 jiayou for whatever that you’re fighting for 💪 We can do this 🔥)

In the mean time, I’m also really glad that many dentists are doing these already, for a better world with better health.😊

Apart from one patient at a time as always, I created a page by putting my family and friends in mind, to share with them what I know.. how they can take care of their teeth better. With this, we grow together.

So here it is... I present to you my birthday present that I give myself. I do understand it’s pretty empty now, should have posted more contents before inviting you guys. That’s because I want to share my first post with you! Watch me start and hopefully grow! Please feel free to ask me any questions, request things that you’d like to see, and constructive feedback if you think something can be improved. I don’t know what I’m getting myself into too 😊 be kind to me please 🙏 and I’ll do my best to serve you better with what I enjoy doing (which is to increase oral health awareness).

Do follow and share both my Facebook and Instagram account to your beloved family and friends for more updates and hopefully some fun and exciting contents!🤩

p/s if you noticed something fun about the tooth logo... WOW!! Amazing!!! you do have sharp eyes🤩

I Thank you so much for your kind and lovely support! 🥰 谢谢🙏感恩 Terima Kasih! Kamsahamnida!💕
