Happy World Oral Health Day 🦷

بمناسبة اليوم العالمي لصحة الفم والأسنان إليكم بعض النصائح للمحافظة على أسنان اطفالكم :

* مسح اللثة بعد كل رضعة باستخدام قطعة نظيفة ومطهّرة من القماش المُبلّل بالماء، لإزالة البكتيريا الضارّة.
* استخدام الطفل معجوناً خاصاً به، مع استشارة الطبيب قبل استعمال المعجون، كما يجب أن تكون الفرشاة ناعمة، وتنظيف الأسنان في وقت يتراوح بين دقيقين وثلاث في كل مرة.
* إجراء فحص دوري لأسنان ولثة الطفل عند طبيب متخصص ابتداء من عمر عام، بغية اكتشاف المشاكل في المراحل الأولى وتجنّب حدوث مضاعفات.
* الحرص على إعطاء الصغير كميات وفيرة من المياه، لحماية الأسنان من التسوّس، فالماء يقلّل من حموضة الفم ويزيل بقايا الطعام.
* استخدام خيط الأسنان يعدّ وسيلة مهمة للحفاظ على صحتها، لأن استعماله مرّة واحدة في اليوم يخلّص الطفل من الطعام المخفي الذي لا تستطيع الفرشاة الوصول إليه.
* يجب ألاّ ينام الطفل أبداً وبقايا الطعام أو الحليب في فمه، فذلك قد يؤدي إلى تسوس أسنانه.
* التركيز على الأغذية الصحية كالحبوب والخضراوات، فضلاً عن اللحوم، والأطعمة الغنية بالحديد والفيتامينات.
