Power of irrigation💪💪

Irrigation is the key to success in endodontics..
This case came to the office with severe pain and swelling
Retreatment started along with incision and drainage
Thereafter, intracanal medicaments were placed, obturation was completed after two weeks..

Key point : whenever we see a lateral lesion there is an indication of lateral canal
Try to irrigate with 17%edta solutions and activate and spread the sealer till lateral gets filled.

Patient came for extraction after having consultations with different dentists,which indeed I took a chance to save it .. alhamdhulillah, Completed the case..

🔸Lower PM with Large peri apical lesion and buccal abcess ! 🙄

Glidepath: 8,10,15,20 k files
File system: PROTAPER Gold
Irrigant:5.25%NaOCl,Both EDTA Gel and liquid
Intracanal medicament: Triple antibiotic paste
Sealer:bioceramic
Obturation: Lateral compaction

Simple take home tips for curved canals:
🔸patience is the key , yes! Endo needs Patience.
🔸always start with smaller files : 8,10,15,20
🔸while negotiating the canals , if any resistance felt then don’t hurry up ! Pack the canal with EDTA and recall for next visit 👍
