عامل الناس زي ما تحب أهلك يتعاملوا..

هدا الولد اللطيف جاني و عنده تزاحم شديد في الأسنان العلوية لدرجة إنه واحد ناب(رقم٣)طالع في مكان غلط و الناب التاني مدفون جوة الفك و ماله مكان يطلع أصلاً. هدي الحالة شائعة جدا (مو شي نادر نشوفه) و التعامل الشائع و المنطقي عادة يكون خلع الضاحك الأول(رقم ٤)، ليش؟ منطقيا عشان نوفر مساحة جنب الأنياب المدفونة فنحل المشكلة بأسهل و أسرع طريقة. لكن في حالة هدا الولد اللطيف سرعة و سهولة العلاج كانت آخر همي! و أقنعته هو و أهله بنفس الشي. ليش؟ عشان الضواحك الأولى(رقم٤)كانت سليمة، مافيها سوس ولا حشوات. بينما الضروس اللي ورا(رقم٦)فيها تسوس و حشوات كبيرة. بعني، بدل ما أخلع الضواحك الأولى و أنزل الأنياب بسرعة و سلالسة، أنا قررت إني أخلع الضروس التعبانة، و أسحب الضواحك التانية(رقم٥) على ورا و بعدها الضواحك الأولى(رقم٤) على ورا عشان أوفر مساحة تخليني أقدر أنزل الأنياب(رقم٣)على تحت. مدة العلاج تزيد، و مجهودي يزيد، و طفش المريض يزيد، و مشاوير الأهل تزيد.. لكنه أتخلص من أسنان تعبانة و حافظ على أسنان سليمة..زي ما أتمنى لأهلي يتعاملوا..و سلامتكم!
A sweet boy came with severe crowding in the upper teeth where one of the canines(3) erupted in a wrong place & the other canine is impacted & has no place to come out. This condition is common, and the usual & logical approach is to extract the first premolars(4), why? Logically, by creating space next to the impacted canines, we solve the problem easily & swiftly. But in this boy's case, the speed & ease of treatment was my last concern! And I convinced him & his family with the same thing. Why? Because the first premolars(4) were healthy, with no cavities and no fillings. While the molars(6), have cavities & large fillings. So instead of extracting the first premolars & pulling the canines quickly & smoothly, I decided to extract the defective molars(6), & pull the seconder premolars(5) back, then pull the first premolars(4) back in order to create space for the canines(3). The duration of treatment increases, it's more work for me, the patient is more fatigued, & the family trips & driving time increase. But we got rid of the defective teeth & preserved the sound teeth, just like the way I want my family to be treated.. Stay healthy, stay happy!
