Managing difficulties!!
4 year follow up, still holding strong!
Finished this case back in 2022. Implants were placed by another surgeon and toooo many of them !!
Case was successfully managed without additional surgeries (had to leave a couple of sleeping implants 💤) and Patient was excellent in performing O.H.
Another option would be to remove some implants due to improper angulation, sinus graft and add more implants! but the patient didn’t want any more surgery.

Remarkable transformation for a wonderful patient.
So how did we do it?
- First, determine the Incisal edge position by virtual/digital wax up.
- Based on CBCT and virtual design, the amount of alveoloplasty was determined.
- Send the design to the lab to fabricate the pilot surgical guide and temporary removable (upper) and fixed (lower) prosthesis.
- Extraction and alveoloplasty for upper (done by manual measurements) and implant placement and peri-implant bone graft. Immediate loading for lower only. Soft reline CD for upper
- After 3 months, Conversion prosthesis for upper.
- Splinted open tray final impression
- PMMA TRY IN
- Final screw retained zirconia FPD

Full mouth rehabilitation, just finished the upper arch with extraction, implant placement, bone graft and zirconia FPD on multiunit abutments.
Going to start ortho in the lower arch with the brilliant

Anodizing is the process of coating the surface of an object with a metal oxide by the process of electrolysis, and depending on the voltage will give a yellow or pink color.
There many advantages to anodizing abutments:
* Reduced surface roughness, increase collagen synthesis
* More hydrophilic, leading to less biofilm formation than un-anodized
* Improve tensile bond strength to implant-supported all-ceramic crowns
* Improve the shade of the restoration (lithium disilicate)
