“Pain Perception and Psychoemotional Responses Across Different Scaling Technologies: A Comparative Pilot Clinical Study.”
This study highlights why patient experience matters in non-surgical periodontal therapy, showing that disease severity plays a greater role in pain perception than the instruments used, and underscoring the value of patient-centered and psychosocial outcomes in periodontal research.
