O expansor diferencial acaba de ser licenciado à empresa brasileira Peclab. O novo expansor resulta de uma patente da Universidade de São Paulo apoiada pela FAPESP, permitindo quantidades de expansões distintas nas regiões anterior e posterior do arco dentário. É indicada quando a constrição do arco dentário superior mostra-se mais acentuada na região dos caninos comparado à região dos molares. A é uma indústria brasileira de produtos odontológicos com certificação de qualidade. The expander with differential opening (EDO) was recently licensed to the Brazilian company Peclab. The new expander is the result of a patent from the University of São Paulo with FAPESP support, permitting different amount of expansion in the anterior and posterior regions of the maxillary dental arch. EDO is indicated when the maxillary arch constriction is greater in the region of canines compared to the region of molars. The is a Brazilian company of dental material with quality certification.
