Patient presented with a complain of swelling and severe pain in upper central previously treated by a Quack dentist
- previous Quack done pulpectomy and then placed cotton in the cavity
- After a week the crown was placed in this mishaped endodontically tx tooth
- After 3 years the patient was presented to me with the above complaints
I started the endo tx for the patient
1st visit...
I made a proper access cavity and started shaping and cleaning the canal
- Remove three years old cotton placed in the canal by previous Quack
Did through irrigation
Place Calcium hydroxide for one week
2nd visit...
After one week I didn't found the canal dry , I did irrigation again, placed Calcium hydroxide again and sent the pt again for a week
3rd visit...
Open the cavity remove the calcium hydroxide and again thoroughly irrigate the canal with 5.25% Hypo
Dry the canal with pp and get the dry canal
I placed an MTA plug in Apical 5 mm and obturate the remaining canal with Gp
