🟢 Healthy Tooth
✔️ Living nerve
✔️ Normal response to cold
✔️ No spontaneous pain
✔️ Normal color

🔴 Dead/Necrotic Tooth
❌ Nerve inside the tooth has died
❌ Usually no response to cold
❌ Tooth may turn grey/dark
❌ Infection can develop around the root
❌ Sometimes there may be NO pain at all!

⚠️ Remember: No pain doesn’t always mean a healthy tooth. A dead tooth can remain painless while infection develops.

🦷 If you notice discoloration or a tooth that no longer responds to cold, get it checked by your dentist.
