Angular Cheilitis.
Inflammation of the angles of the mouth, characterized by fissures, scaling, erythema and crusting

Initial evaluation of predisposing local factors: Evaluation of prosthesis, maintenance of oral hygiene, and intraoral fungal infection.
aPrescribe a combination of topical antifungal and antibacterial agent: eg. Nystatin and Triamcinolone gel (topical) (eg. Mycogen II, Mytrex)

Instructions: Apply a thin layer to the angles of the mouth 2–3 x daily for 2 weeks or until healing occurs. If no improvement reassessment is needed.
