Patient presented to us with a lateral incisor positioned on the inner (palatal) side, and the patient did not want orthodontic (braces) treatment. We planned an alternative solution using a customized zirconia crown to improve the position, shape, and overall appearance of the tooth.

What seems like pillars coming out of an abandoned building is actually a so called root canal obturation done by some dental quack a few months ago to a young female patient who presented with a chief complaint of severe pain, sharp edges cutting her tongue, inability to eat, swelling, pyrexia and bleeding from her so called root canal treated tooth site

Upon clinical examination and periapical xray it appeared that endo files were hanging out of broken down roots. Hence, an extraction was done immediately as a choice of treatment at STAR DENTAL AND AESTHETICS CENTRE.

What important is that what if the files were infected before placement, and what if the patient has got some fatal viral infection common by these kind of quack treatments. After the procedure done with extreme care of infection control the patient was requested to get blood screening.

Its a request to kindly avoid from quacks for any kind of treatment and consult your dentist regularly for your oral and dental checkups as mouth is a door to body keep it healthy and hygienic.

Case of a 9 year old boy with poor oral hygiene who is reluctant to brush teeth regularly and now appeared with the chief complaint of halitosis and gingival bleeding. Scaling and Polishing was done at STAR DENTAL and AESTHETICS CENTRE to manage the condition and counselling was done for the betterment of patient. A 27 year old male patient worried for his esthetic concerns, lacking confidence to laugh due to excessive dental smoking having history of smoking from last 10 years.

Air prophy was done to remove all the dental stains followed by Ultrasonic Scaling and Polishing for removal of calculus and plaque deposits.

Case of a 25 years old female patient with history of excruciating pain and difficulty in eating since 6 months.

Upon Clinical and Radiographic examination it was diagnosed that she was having the condition of pericoronitis due to right lower 3rd molar which was mesioangularly impacted and moreover damaging the 2nd molar, anterior to it, whose pain was the chief complaint of patient. Right lower 2nd molar was in condition of irreversible pulpitis causing unbearable pain to patient.

The impacted wisdom tooth was surgically removed at Star Dental and Aesthetics Centre(pic 1), followed by the Root Canal Treatment of right lower 7(pic 2). The patient is currently painfree and on followups with much better response at every visit.

POV: The patient upon asking told that she unknowingly went to a Dental Quack 6 months ago, who without an Xray or any other examination just did a filling in the operculum of impacted wisdom tooth which provoked the severe pain lasting upto months that also cost the other functional molar of patient.

From being decayed to restoration!

The journey of a tooth from being severly fractured to a functional and aesthetic tooth at Star Dental & Aesthetics Centre🦷💯

A right lower 1st molar of a 28 year old boy, which was previously RCT treated few years ago and was now fractured, painful and non-functional. Patient wanted tooth extraction but upon counselling he agreed for its restoration.

Hence, restoration was done doing post and core prior to crown preparation and PFM Crown was placed on the tooth. After 2 followups in 6 months, the patient is completely satisfied, has no pain and is able to masticate properly.

POV: Crowning over a Root Canal Treated tooth is better as its natural structure is already compromised. And last but not the least, saving your natural tooth is always good than getting it extracted at a young age.

Case of a 40 year old female patient with severe pain radiating in her whole face and was also unable to open her mouth.

Upon Periapical X-ray and clinical examination it was diagnosed that she was suffering from moderate pericoronitis of a carious and mesioangularly tilted left lower 3rd molar commonly called wisdom tooth.

A non-surgical, painless extraction was done at Star Dental & Aesthetics Centre.

Wisdom teeth are often extracted in such conditions as they are not so much used in mastication and are of little or no esthetic concern.

POV: Wisdom teeth have nothing to do with your wisdom 😄.
