The honorable President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi invited the founding
team of InstaCare lead by Bilal Amjad (CEO), Ahmed & Ayesha to
Aiwan-E-Sadar. The meeting was also attended by the representatives
of the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination
(NHSR&C), Dr. Sabrina Durrani (Director), and Dr. Samra Mazhar (Deputy
Director).
This meeting provided the team an opportunity to share the journey,hard
work,and the growth of InstaCare.
The President of Pakistan appreciated the efforts of the team and
the digital health solutions developed by InstaCare to address the key
challenges of Pakistan's Healthcare system that includes but are not
limited to the inaccessibility of healthcare services, the growing ratio of
medication errors,the low attention span of doctors due to high patient
load and the unreliability of health services.
During the meeting, Bilal shared the great efforts made by his team and
during the COVID-19 crisis by serving over 20,000 patients, collaborating
with Provincial Governments to set up Telemedicine Centers, and
working with multiple healthcare startups, clinics, and hospitals to enable
telehealth services for the patients.
Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordinations shared
their interest and possible opportunities to work with Team InstaCare.
We are extremely happy to find that The President of Pakistan shares a
common vision of accessible and efficient healthcare in Pakistan.
This meeting was a building stone for creating a framework for the
implementation of digital health solutions in the country and a great
motivation for me and my team.
