💡What if the biggest lesson wasn't from a medical journal... but from a TV drama?

Dr Bahu has recently sparked meaningful conversations on social media.

Beyond the story, one message that I took away was: Self-respect is not selfish. It has to be.

We are healthcare providers, trained to take care of everyone else.

Our patients. Our families. Our communities.

But somewhere down the line, a lot of women forget to look after their own emotional health.

Setting healthy boundaries is not about being arrogant.

Speaking up doesn't make someone difficult.

Knowing your worth doesn’t make someone less caring.

In fact, healthcare starts with the caregiver too.

Whether you’re a doctor, writer, entrepreneur, teacher, homemaker…

Your voice matters. Your dreams matter. Your dignity matters.

A society is healthier when women are empowered to take care of themselves, as well as others.

Sometimes, the most meaningful conversations begin outside the clinic.

And perhaps that's why stories matter.
