Most people focus only on brushing — but your oral pH plays a huge role in preventing cavities too.

When the mouth becomes too acidic, enamel starts to weaken, creating the perfect environment for caries-causing bacteria to thrive.

Simple habits can help balance your oral pH and reduce cavity risk:
• Drink plenty of water
• Limit frequent snacking
• Reduce sugary & acidic drinks
• Use fluoride toothpaste
• Chew sugar-free gum to stimulate saliva
• Maintain good oral hygiene

A healthier oral environment means stronger teeth and fewer cavities.

Important Clarification

This is to formally clarify that neither I, Dr. Qurat ul Ain Dar, Student Mentor & Marketing Specialist, nor the educational platform I work with for overseas dentists preparing for licensing exams, hold any responsibility for private transactions, purchases, sales, or dealings conducted between individuals outside officially authorized channels.

Due to the nature of my role, I communicate with a large number of doctors and candidates daily regarding courses, exams, guidance, and general queries. Any individual mentioning my name, claiming to have spoken to me, or using my reference does not establish official authorization, affiliation, guarantee, or responsibility from my side or from the platform.

We strongly advise all doctors and candidates to exercise caution while dealing with third parties regarding equipment, materials, financial transactions, or personal arrangements. Kindly ensure that any official communication, offers, or authorized dealings are made only through verified and officially designated platforms or representatives.

While we sincerely regret any unpleasant experiences faced by individuals, neither I nor the platform can be held accountable for independent dealings conducted outside our official scope and authorization.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

You don’t have to leave dentistry behind just because life looks different right now.

If you choose the non-clinical side of dentistry, I can’t promise overnight success or huge income from day one.
It’s a slow, patient journey — one that takes consistency, learning, growth, and showing up even in small ways.

But what I can promise is that there are still meaningful ways to stay connected with your field, grow professionally, build confidence again, and create opportunities for yourself beyond the clinic.

Whether you’re a mother, preparing for exams, taking a career break, or unable to practice clinically right now — your degree still has value.

From teaching, content creation, mentoring, freelancing, research, marketing, digital products, online businesses, and so much more — there are paths you can explore at your own pace.

Something is always better than nothing.
Even small steps matter.

You are still a dentist.
Your journey is simply taking a different shape. 🤍

Not every dentist is meant for the clinic — and that’s okay. ✨

There’s a whole world of dentistry beyond the dental chair.

The GDC has officially announced a MASSIVE increase in ORE fees for overseas dentists — especially for ORE Part 2, which has increased by almost 65%.

For many international dentists, this means:
• Higher financial pressure
• More importance of structured preparation
• Greater pressure to pass in the first attempt
• A need to plan smarter than ever before

The UK pathway is becoming more competitive and more expensive — but with the right strategy, guidance & preparation, it is still achievable.

What are your thoughts on this fee increase? Fair or unfair? 👇

Save & share this post with someone preparing for the ORE journey.

If you’re appearing in IDC Part 2 this year, I genuinely think you should attend this session.

We have a recent IDC 2025 graduate joining us LIVE tomorrow, and honestly, the kind of insights you get from someone who has very recently gone through the exam themselves are completely different. The small things, the approach, what actually matters, what candidates usually overlook — those are the things that can really make a difference.

It’s going to be a very real and practical session, especially for those of you feeling confused, overwhelmed, or unsure about how to approach the exam in these last few weeks.

Not every dental treatment you’re advised is wrong.
But not every treatment is always necessary either.

Some common concerns seen in practice:

• Unnecessary fillings or root canals
• Overuse of antibiotics
• Poor sterilization practices
• Rushing procedures without proper explanation
• Lack of informed consent

As patients, you have the right to:
✔ Ask questions
✔ Understand your treatment options
✔ Seek a second opinion

As dentists, our responsibility goes beyond treatment —
it’s about trust, ethics, and doing what’s right.

Awareness is the first step toward better care.
