'Chronic Suppurative Periodontitis of a Lower Left 2nd Molar: A Case of Re-treatment.'
The patient underwent root canal treatment from elsewhere three years ago, but soon experienced tenderness, swelling, and pus discharge. Two private clinics recommended extraction, deeming the case hopeless. The patient was referred to me by an old patient. Upon thorough examination in my practice, it was discovered that the MB canal was overlooked, and the ML and D canals were also inadequately prepared. The tooth was therefore successfully treated with proper preparation of the MB and ML canals to F2 and the D canal to F3.
