Dr. Syed Naveed Manzoor earned his Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry in 2004 and went on for further specialized courses. In March 2006 the foundation for Bites & Braces Dental was laid, the primary focus of which was the betterment of Oral hygiene of society. The flyers were unique as different colors highlighted different information to teach Masses about Prevention & Oral Health. More than 100 sch

ool visits were planned in 2008 and lectures were given to students & children on basic Dental hygiene. Emphasis was given to proper brushing technique and brushing twice daily. In 2010 Dr. Naveed, along with his wife Dr. Maliha took B & B to a new level, providing Prevention techniques & treatments specialties under one roof. In 2011 Public Malls and Population rich locations were targeted and Dental Health Knowledge Kiosks were established. In 2016, Ivory Teeth Whitening Strips were launched; Pakistan’s first-ever whitening strips providing a cost-effective way to a bright and dazzling smile! In 2019, Bites & Braces stretched its wings to ever expanding horizons. All social media platforms were established to freely educate masses about Prevention & not Treatment.
2020, Bites & Braces™ got its trade mark.
2021, Bites & Braces™ Launched it's online APPLICATION (Free) for the whole world to Download & receive free Oral Health tips every week. Recent COVID times have much highlighted the Need for Prevention than Treatment. Dr. Naveed wants to show a different side of Health care story, that revolves around reducing treatments & promoting preventions in his Community. Very few people reach Dr. Naveed’s Potential. His interests in Paintings, Crafting, Astronomy & History makes him Unique. His hobbies for Antiques, Cars & Travelling makes him knowledgeable. Elevator Movements in Tooth Extraction

Dental elevators are used to luxate and loosen a tooth or root before forceps delivery. Common movements include:

Wedge movement: Elevator is inserted between the tooth and bone to expand the socket and loosen the tooth.

Lever movement: Uses a fulcrum to lift the tooth or root coronally. A controlled force is essential to avoid bone or adjacent-tooth damage.

Wheel-and-axle movement: Rotating the elevator around its long axis, particularly useful for removing retained roots.

Rotational movement: The elevator is rotated within the socket to gradually expand the periodontal ligament space.

Key principle: Elevators should be used with controlled, deliberate forces, always considering the direction of root curvature, surrounding bone, and adjacent teeth.
