The name of our Debating Society itself encapsulates our spirit - We are different because we dare. DDS is Non-profit Organization which promotes the confidence and social skills of youth through out Dera Ismail Khan, through debates and other social activities & sessions. This is a platform

for students to express themselves and influence change in a positive and constructive manner. Our aim is To educate the youth of Dera Ismail Khan on important global, national and local issues. We also focus on equipping youth with confidence in their beliefs and we teach them how to effectively communicate in public. The society has founders known inside and outside the city as the best speakers or debaters. They all are always ready to guide the youth of Dera Ismail Khan and to polish their talent to the level of excellence. Besides organising prestigious debating competitions, the society maintains an extensive database of debating societies of other cities. This helps in obtaining timely information about competitions and conventions worth attending. We believe in our motto - "Be the change". Regards,

World Water Day 🌊 was celebrated 🎉 with the help of Students of BTSC in Lahore. Parade was really informative and the slogans raised by Students won hearts of many!
World Water Day is an annual event celebrated on 22 March. The day focuses attention on the importance of universal access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene facilities in developing countries.The day also focuses on advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.

Renaissance-The DERAyans Debating & Literary Society collaborated with two NGO's, KHWENDO KOR & FAFEN (Free And Fair Election Network) to organize the event "Citizen's Charter of Demand" under the flag of project "Deepening Democracy and Election Support in Pakistan".
Various Political Parties representatives, youngsters and government officials took part in this convention.
The presentation regarding the Issues and Demands of various sectors including Education, Environment, Agriculture, health and administration was presented by Ms. Humaira Ahmad Khan (Patron in-Chief DDS) & the co-host Salman Khan.
Later, the question answer session was conducted that brought forth various problems/issues the people of Dera Ismail Khan District are facing. Sher Afgan (President Arts) took great care by organizing the event.

TDEA-FAFEN with its implementing partners, are organizing a Convention in Dera Ismail Khan District, by calling political representatives from various political parties.
The project "Deepening Democracy and election Support in Pakistan" is a nine-months duration project to contribute towards more inclusive, transparent and responsive democratic institutions and processes in Pakistan. The outcome of this initiative is to build greater levels of engagement and trust of citizens, including women and socially-marginalised groups, in electoral and parliamentary processes in Pakistan.

Renaissance-The DERAyans Debating & Literary Society is collaborating with the organizers in speaking in the event. The Patron-in-Chief Humaira Ahmad Khan along with Salman Khan are presenting the project in the convention.

Youth is welcome to the event!

DDS family members met the District Sports & Youth Affairs Officer today in the office's conference hall. We had our respected teacher, guide and supporter Dr. Ziauddin Zia with us during the meeting. It was a productive meeting and we are looking forward to work with district government.
It was a wonderful meeting having Hi-tea together. Later, the Arts cabinet started working on their project of interior designing of the office. We had lunch together and also the afternoon tea. It was an amazing day.

Members of DDS family actively participated in the workshop organized by TDEA Pakistan. Respected Sir Fazal Rehman invited DDS family members and guided us throughout the event.
It was a wonderful experience discussing the 18th amendment, the KP Education Development plans until 2030 and also speaking about the issues, giving our recommendations and bringing forth solutions for Government to act on!

We are gladly declaring the newly made cabinet of DDS. We have accumulated some extremely lucrative potential as magnificent speakers, excellent orators, artists, public speakers, photographers, splendid personalities and brilliant minds.
DDS is a standout amongst the most sensational, phenomenal, enthralling and enchanting organizations of the considerable division D.I.Khan.
We all join hands in hands with our supreme aim is to introduce innovative mélange of activities and competitions with superlative quality that not only enhance the level of the member students, but inculcate in them a sort of cohesive team spirit. The member students are exposed to new dimensions that broaden up their horizons and give them maximum intellectual stimulation and entertainment as well.

Today the officials of DDS had a visit to the DDS head office site in D. I. Khan city. The office is right in the middle of the city. We have security cameras installed in there and a security guard as well.
Here are some pictures from the wonderful place we have got to continue doing the great work.
The renovations, decorations and arrangements start this week. Office inauguration shall take place by the end of the month as well!
