Behind every “small cavity” is a complete investigation.
Behind every “it doesn’t hurt” is a story waiting to be discovered.
Behind every “I’ll only take 5 minutes” is a patient who has 10 different concerns. 😂

You spend years learning anatomy, diagnosis, radiology, restorative dentistry, endodontics, surgery, and a hundred other things… only to realise that half of dentistry is actually managing fear, expectations, and last-minute questions.

You have to work in a tiny space, with limited visibility, while someone is moving their tongue, swallowing, closing their mouth, asking questions, and occasionally saying:

“Doctor, will this hurt?” 😭

And somehow, you still have to stay calm, focused, precise, and reassuring.

The hardest part?

You care about every single tooth as if it were your own. ❤️🦷

Dentistry may look like simply fixing teeth from the outside, but behind that dental chair is years of education, concentration, patience, responsibility, and a whole lot of mental exhaustion.

To every dentist who has ever finished a long day, removed their gloves, sat back for a second and thought…

“I survived another day.” 😂🥲

En este caso se realiza una mesialización molar con anclaje esquelético, aplicando la fuerza mediante un brazo auxiliar a una altura cercana al nivel de furca/centro de resistencia.
Este diseño biomecánico permite controlar mejor la relación momento-fuerza, reduciendo el tipping mesial y favoreciendo una mesialización más corporal, con mejor verticalización radicular. 🦷✨

This is why personally, i do not Affiliate with any HMOs. Our Services as Dentists are much lower than what they give MDs.
Its an insult to out Profession!

Many Filipinos rely on health maintenance organizations to help cover medical expenses, but some doctors say long reimbursement delays are forcing them to turn away HMO patients.

Among them is Dr. Tin Verzosa of Velasco Verzosa Pediatric Clinic in Parañaque, who said she chose not to accept HMOs in her standalone clinic.

In a June 10 Facebook post, Verzosa shared a timeline of a December 2024 consultation that was processed in July 2025 and paid out in June 2026. It was a process that took about a year and a half.

The HMO covered ₱300, leaving her with ₱270 after tax deductions.

“I understand that there is a process in everything pero naman, anong petsa na???” Verzosa wrote. “I am not complaining just because pera pera lang. Alam ng mga patients ko yan.“

Verzosa said she’s doing her profession “with humility and integrity,” but her experience shows that healthcare professionals “are really being taken for granted in our country.”

Fellow healthcare professionals echoed her sentiments, saying delayed reimbursements and administrative burdens make them feel like “milking cows”—pushing some physicians away from HMO accreditation altogether.

Many private physicians and small clinics operate as independent practices, meaning they continue paying rent, utilities, staff salaries, taxes, and other operating expenses—whether reimbursements arrive or not.

Healthcare groups and doctors have long warned that prolonged payment delays can discourage providers from accepting certain HMOs—or from maintaining accreditation at all.
