The patient came to the clinic with a fractured tooth crown #12 which was Root Canal Treated 24 years ago. The case was done by placing a post within the canal, building up the core with Glass Ionomer Cement, and preparing the tooth to receive a Porcelain fused to Tilite Crown. Temporary Crown was also done to ensure that adjacent tooth will not move towards the space for tooth #12. Case done by Grechelle Dy and Dan Frederick Dones.

A 13-year old patient came to the clinic with asymmetrical face. Initially, badly carious teeth usually is the cause. However, upon checking intraorally, it can be seen that the patient has no Upper Left Canine (tooth #23). Straight on periapical radiograph didnt show tooth #13 thus panoramic radiograph was requested. There is a possibility that tooth #13 is impacted and its folicular sac has developed into a dentigerous cyst. Biopsy needs to be done to confirm the lesion. 3. Section and Removal of the Crown
4. Section and Removal of the Roots
5. Debridement & Suturing

After several attempts due to High Blood Pressure, Incisional biopsy has been done to the patient. Hopefully still a cyst and not yet a tumor. Case done by Dan Frederick Dones and Grechelle Dy.

The patient came for restoration/ dental filling on lower left premolar. Once radiograph was taken, the patient was advised that dental filling can’t be done anymore since the tooth is already dead. Extraction or Root Canal Treatment was suggested. The patient then seek the help of another dentist.

2 years after, the patient came back and I saw the tooth has been restored by another dentist. New radiograph was taken for free just for me to see if did I misdiagnose the premolar’s status 2 years back and I was shocked with the quality of dental treatment given by the other dentist to the patient. Whatever happens to the tooth, it is not because of me.

Patient came to the clinic for simple extraction of lower incisors due to mobility. Bone expansion was evident and fluctuant area was noted on the labial. Aspirational biopsy done to see it the lesion is “cystic” or “mass”. Case done by Dan Frederick Donesand Grechelle Dy.

This is not inflamed gums but it is a “PULP POLYP”. Usually seen on children and it is not dangerous nor cancerous but the involved tooth needs to be removed/extracted.

The parents thought that this molar is still a baby tooth and they assume that there is still a replacement tooth coming out after it is extracted but it is already the FIRST PERMANENT MOLAR.

Most of the people do not know that lower 3rd molars or wisdom tooth are usually impacted. The patient came to clinic with tooth ache on the lower 2nd molar and the tooth needs surgical removal. If only the patient knew that her 3rd molar should have been removed a long time ago, the 2nd molar could have been saved. Case done by Dan Frederick Dones and Grechelle Dy

When a patient ask for a dental filling, 90% of the time that tooth is already indicated for Extraction or Root Canal Treatment (RCT). Upon cavity preparation one of the tooth needs RCT and the other one has been restored. On some cases cutting of gums (gingivectomy) is necessary to do the restoration properly. One of the hard cases are those without spaces. We have to create spaces in order to align the teeth. Managing the “open-bite” is also challenging. Case done by Grechelle Dy and Dan Frederick Dones.

The patient came from a dentist which was trying to remove the impacted 3rd molar. According to the patient the procedure lasted for 2 hours and they decided to stop the surgery. The case was referred by another dentist and was done by Dan Frederick Dones and Grechelle Dy
