I'm thrilled to share a heartwarming patient success story with you! 😊

This lovely patient came in wanting to extract her right lateral incisor, but after discussing options, we convinced her to opt for a root canal treatment and crown instead. She was overjoyed to save her tooth! 💪

So she saved up, and weeks later, we made it happen! 🥳

We also did diastema closure and composite restoration on her other 3 front teeth, giving her a beautiful, confident smile. 🦷

Despite the absence of an obvious cavity, probing with an explorer reveals a catch on the posterior aspect of the tooth.

Radiographic examination confirms the presence of a large carious lesion. The likely etiology is food impaction secondary to the position of the wisdom tooth.
