Post Christmas Surgery

The first photo shows removal of both lower right 2nd molar and partially impacted lower right 3rd molar (wisdom tooth). This was done because both teeth became symptomatic (painful) due to cavities present on both teeth.

On the 2nd photo, removal of impacted lower left 3rd molar (wisdom tooth) was done to prevent damage to its adjacent tooth.

Management of impacted lower third molars

Two different patients came to the clinic for the management of their impacted lower right wisdom teeth.

The case on the first picture was done to prevent further damage to its adjacent second molar (the tooth already has a small cavity, while the case om the 2nd picture was done to treat PERICORONITIS (inflammation of gums aroung partially erupted tooth). Simple tooth extraction of upper wisdom teeth, in both cases, was also performed to prevent supraeruption of the tooth due to loss of its antagonist.

Endodontic therapy + esthetic dentistry on a single tooth

This patient came to the clinic complaining about her discolored and labioverted/crooked upper right front tooth ( #11). This was her problem for a long time and according to her, no matter what restoration or filling that was placed on her tooth the grayish discoloration or shadow was still evident.

Upon thorough examination, it was found out that the tooth was already necrotic (dead), which explains its discolorarion.

Treatment done:

•Scaling and polishing
•Endodontic therapy of the involved tooth (root canal treatment)
•Internal bleaching (Walking bleach)
•Direct composite veneer on a single tooth
