This patient was concerned about her front teeth appearing small and uneven due to excess gum tissue. A gingivectomy was performed to reshape the gums and create a more balanced, symmetrical frame for the teeth.

Using an electrocautery machine allowed for precise contouring with controlled bleeding and smoother healing.

A small adjustment in the gums can make a big difference in the overall smile.

An anterior open bite happens when the upper and lower front teeth don’t touch when the mouth is closed, affecting both appearance and proper biting.

Case handled by Dr. Soleto.

The patient initially presented with this condition. We are now in the bite correction stage, where elastics are being used to help gradually close the gap and guide the teeth into proper contact.

With the right treatment plan and consistent elastic wear, the bite is steadily improving toward better function and a more balanced smile.
