Inside a childβs skull, beneath the small baby teeth we see, a full set of adult teeth is already forming deep within the jaw, quietly waiting for the right time to emerge.
Humans are naturally designed to have two sets of teeth. Baby teeth support early chewing, speech, and facial growth, while permanent teeth develop underneath. As a child grows, the jaw expands, and the roots of baby teeth slowly dissolve, allowing adult teeth to move into place.
Every child follows their own timeline, and regular dental checkups simply ensure everything is progressing as it should.
