It’s a favorite idiom of one of our mentors.

This patient had root canal treatment on both front teeth and had a composite veneer as a final restoration to one of the them.

Years later, the tooth with a composite veneer darkened in color, which is usually expected to happen.

She felt conscious and not happy with her current smile that she decided to opt for a Porcelain fused to Zirconia crowns to mask the discoloration.

She specifically requested for a slightly whiter than the rest of her teeth to give her a fresher look and it shows on the after photos.

Teeth that deserved to be crowned. 👑

Root canal treated teeth that developed secondary caries on the lingual area needs to be crowned to prevent further damage to the remaining healthy tooth structures. Patient opted for Porcelain fused to Zirconia crowns since this area is a high aesthetic zone.
