Smile Story Time โจ
Every smile has a story, and every treatment has its limitations.
When this patient first came to our clinic, we performed a comprehensive assessment. The ideal treatment plan was orthodontic therapy to properly align her teeth before any esthetic restoration. However, with her wedding day fast approaching, she chose not to undergo orthodontic treatment.
Instead, we accepted the challenge.
Within the biologic and functional limits of her existing bite (MIP), we carefully redesigned the shape and proportions of her teeth to create a more harmonious smile that complemented her facial features. During the evaluation, we also discovered that her four upper anterior teeth were already necrotic, making root canal treatment necessary before proceeding with the final restorations.
The result is a smile that respected her timeline while balancing esthetics, function, and long-term oral health.
Not every case follows the ideal pathway, but every treatment should begin with an honest discussion of the available options. The best treatment is always the one that aligns clinical principles with the patientโs goals, expectations, and circumstances.
