Kung 3× ka nang nag toothbrush pero may bad breath pa rin, malamang hindi lang sa simpleng pagsisipilyo ang problema. Narito ang mga karaniwang dahilan:

1. Dila (tongue) ang culprit
Kahit malinis ang ngipin, kung may bacteria sa dila (lalo na sa likod), puwedeng magdulot ng amoy. Subukan gumamit ng tongue scraper o sipilyuhin din ang dila.

2. Tartar o plaque buildup
Kung may naipong tigas na dumi (tartar), hindi ito natatanggal ng toothbrush lang. Kailangan ng professional cleaning sa dentista.

3. May sira o infection sa ngipin/gilagid
Mga cavity o gum disease (tulad ng gingivitis) puwedeng magdulot ng mabahong hininga kahit madalas magsipilyo.

4. Dry mouth (kulang sa laway)
Kapag tuyo ang bibig, mas mabilis dumami ang bacteria. Uminom ng sapat na tubig at iwasan ang sobrang kape o alak.

5. Food at lifestyle
Pagkain ng bawang, sibuyas, o paninigarilyo—kahit malinis ka, may natitirang amoy.

6. Ibang health issues
Minsan galing sa tiyan o ilong (hal. sinus infection o gastroesophageal reflux disease).

📌Ano ang puwedeng gawin:

🦷Mag-floss araw-araw
🦷Linisin ang dila
🦷Gumamit ng mouthwash (alcohol-free mas ok)
🦷Uminom ng tubig
🦷Magpa-check up at mag pa cleaning sa dentista
