ORAL REHABILITATION

**This is an ongoing oral rehabilitation case and with patients consent**

•Direct Composite restorations through a conservative approach. It is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment to create subtle, natural enhancements and restoring its function and bite.

•We also performed gingivectomy (cutting of gums) and one (1) seating root canal therapy on the lower tooth # 42 to save the tooth.

Next to be performed: Tooth Extraction + Dentures + Fabrication of Mouthguard(in prevention of teeth grinding)

RESTORED TOOTH | RESTORED FUNCTION

“Sumasakit at akala mo mababaw pa?”

Here’s our case for today.

**with patients consent.

The patient is complaining of pain, intermittent and sharp shooting on his upper left side. Thinking that his upper left wisdom tooth is erupting. Upon examination, it revealed that he has deep seated cavity on his upper 2nd pre-molar. Immediately, we took radiograph to confirm. Upon assessment, it revealed that the cavity reached the nerve causing so much pain to the patient. I recommended One (1) seating root canal therapy to ease the pain and to restore the tooth for the meantime by means of Composite restoration and restore its tooth function.

‼️Remember‼️

1. One seating root canal therapy can be done by case to case basis with careful proper diagnosis.

2. After root canal, it is recommended that the tooth needs to be stronger by fabricating Porcelain crown for the longevity of the tooth.

3. Tooth Discoloration may be noticeable months/years after removing the infected nerve inside the canal.

I also restored his Upper left 1st Pre-molar because of “Kissing cavity”.

The patient is happy with the result, so am I! ❤️❤️❤️
