Large trial supports silver diamine fluoride for childhood decay;

A large US trial has found that silver diamine fluoride can arrest tooth decay in more than half of affected baby teeth when applied every six months.

Marami kasing nag-react dahil pina-"princess crown" ko si Selah, akala nila para lang siyang pampaganda ng ngipin.

Pero ang totoo, treatment siya.

Kapag sobrang sira na ang baby tooth, hindi laging bunot ang sagot. A pediatric crown helps protect the tooth, para makakain nang maayos ang bata, makaiwas sa pain at infection, at ma-maintain ang space para sa permanent teeth niya.

Baby teeth are temporary, yes. But their purpose is NOT.

As parents, we have two choices: pabayaan hanggang sumakit at lumala, o ipa-treat habang kaya pang i-save.

Hindi ko ito ginawa para sa content. Ginawa ko ito para sa anak ko.
