โœ… Gumamit ng soft-bristled toothbrush para hindi masugatan ang gilagid at maprotektahan ang enamel ng ngipin.
โœ… Magsipilyo nang 2 minuto para malinis ang lahat ng bahagi ng bibig.
โœ… Iposisyon ang toothbrush sa 45ยฐ na anggulo patungo sa gilagid.
โœ… Gumamit ng maliliit at paikot na galaw (circular motion). Huwag idiin o kuskusin nang malakas.
โœ… Linisin ang lahat ng bahagi ng ngipin:
-Harapang bahagi
-Likurang bahagi
-Nginunguyang bahagi
-Huwag kalimutang sipilyuhin ang dila para mabawasan ang bad breath.
โœ… Palitan ang toothbrush kada 6 buwan, o mas maaga kung bukaka na ang bristles.

Alam mo ba na kahit araw-araw kang nagsisipilyo, puwede pa ring magkaroon ng cavities at gum disease kung mali ang paraan ng pagsisipilyo?

โœ… Sundin ang mga simpleng hakbang na ito:
1. Ilagay ang sipilyo sa 45-degree angle patungo sa gilagid.
2. Dahan-dahang igalaw ang sipilyo paikot o maliliit na pabilog na galaw. Huwag masyadong madiin dahil maaaring masugatan ang gilagid at maubos ang enamel ng ngipin.
3. Sipilyuhin ang lahat ng bahagi ng ngipin: โ€ข Labas (outer surface) โ€ข Loob (inner surface) โ€ข Nginuyaang bahagi (chewing surface)
4. Huwag kalimutang sipilyuhin ang dila upang makatulong laban sa bad breath.
5. Magsipilyo ng 2 beses sa isang araw sa loob ng 2 minuto at gumamit ng fluoride toothpaste.
