Philippine Academy of General Dentistry in cooperation with Fildent invites you to a special endo training seminar: Minimally Invasive Endodontics (MIE): Clinical Challenges and Contemporary Solutions to be conducted by Dr Chung Hua "Chris" Chen from Taiwan. This training session will discuss key concepts in Minimally Invasive Endodontics (MIE). This treatment philosophy aims to preserve maximum tooth structure while maintaining the biological objectives of root canal therapy to improve the long-term structural integrity and fracture resistance of endodontically treated teeth. This session will explore the three critical pillars of successful endodontic therapy: preparation, irrigation, and obturation.
The first section will review Minimally invasive canal preparation, highlighting modern concepts of guided access, conservative shaping, and the use of advanced nickel-titanium instrumentation.
The second section focuses on irrigation, the cornerstone of successful MIE. As canal preparations become smaller, Contemporary irrigation strategies are inefficient. A newer modified Sonic activation approach, “continuous active sonic irrigation ( CASI), will be discussed.
The final section will discuss obturation in minimally prepared canals. Modern bioceramic sealers and hydraulic condensation techniques have transformed obturation philosophy by emphasizing biologically compatible sealing rather than excessive compaction forces.
This event will be on September 25, 2026 (830am-530pm) at Wyndham Garden Manila Bay Hotel in Roxas Blvd Paranaque City. Concept Demonstration and Hands-on Session is included in the training: Seminar Fee is P4300 for PAGD members and P4900 for Non Members.
